HEADROOM

Headroom is an important mental health project that engages young people to think about and develop an understanding of their own mental health. To achieve this, the project works in partnership with young people to develop relevant and appropriate information about mental health and what it is, what skills and strategies young people can use to look after their own mental health and encourages young people to obtain information and to seek support and help. Young people can access this information, contribute their ideas and participate in the project by visiting the Headroom website or at community events promoting Headroom. Information developed by Headroom is widely available at a range of youth and health services. Headroom commenced in 1997 and is located at the Children's Youth and Women's Health Service.
